Yes, with the right support, some individuals can show enough progress to move from Level 3 autism (requiring very substantial support) to Level 1 (requiring support). However, this doesn’t mean the autism is “cured”—autism is lifelong. But it does mean that a person’s skills and independence can improve significantly over time.

ABA therapy plays a big role in this progress. With consistent, individualized support, children can develop communication, social, and daily living skills that reduce their need for intensive help. Early intervention is especially powerful, starting therapy in the toddler or preschool years can lead to the greatest gains.

Every child is unique. Some may move between levels, while others may stay at the same level but still make meaningful progress.

At Little Champs ABA, we celebrate every step forward. Whether your child is starting at Level 3 or Level 1, we’re here to help them grow, thrive, and gain confidence through ABA therapy in Colorado and Utah.
